Narcissus Mount Hood is named after one of the most popular mountains in the world! This classic variety is older than 80 years and has been first cultivated in the Netherlands in 1930’s. The flower prefers cooler climates and has typical narcissus – six white petals. What makes it very special is its gigantic yellow trumpet, which turns white over time! Mount Hood blooms in March and is one of the first spring bloomers. With its length of 40 cm it’s a perfect for cut flower use and easily combines with other spring varieties.
The Big Crown Daffodils group is well known for its huge trumpets that can reach the size of its petals, and in some cases, outgrow the whole flower. This variety has a long blooming life and the bulbs can quickly multiply, which makes it perfect for covering large areas with flowers.

Other information
- First loosen the soil well where the daffodil bulbs will be planted. Then the soil is easier to work with.
- Dig a hole and make sure it is 2 to 3 times as deep as the height of the bulbs.
- For the distance between the bulbs, make sure it is 2 times the diameter of the bulbs.
- Plant the flower bulbs in the hole with the pointed side facing up or with the root base facing down.
- Cover the daffodil bulbs with soil and water them well.
