Will my Wax Flower Bulb actually bloom now that it’s been coated in wax?

Our Wax Amaryllises are guaranteed to bloom. We sell only the best quality, and every wax flower bulb we sell is first inspected by our quality inspector. This ensures that we only send wax flower bulbs that we fully stand behind.

How does the Wax Amaryllis bloom without needing water or planting?

The Amaryllis is a flower bulb that blooms "dry," meaning the bulb carries all the nutrients it needs to bloom. Using this technique, the Amaryllis will bloom once with at least two stems. A "regular" Amaryllis bulb can bloom for several years if properly cared for. The fact that the Wax Amaryllis blooms only once is more than compensated for by the bulb’s extra decorative value.

Will the Wax Amaryllis stay upright when it blooms?

Thanks to a special metal stand at the bottom of the bulb, the Wax Amaryllis won’t topple over, allowing you to enjoy its beautiful flowers worry-free.

Can I wax flower bulbs myself?

While anyone is free to try, remember that it took years of trial and error to perfect the product as it is today. Many of the various methods of waxing and preparing the flower bulbs are patented by the creators.

What colour will my Wax Amaryllis flower be?

At the beginning of the Wax Amaryllis "season," primarily red Amaryllises are used. This is due to the bulb’s "readiness," meaning the speed at which the bulb wants to bloom. Tests have shown that some varieties bloom faster and earlier in the year than others. Later in the year, other colours such as white and white/red are also waxed.

Why isn’t the flower colour listed on the product page?

Due to the high demand for Wax Amaryllis bulbs, we unfortunately cannot yet specify the exact colour used for each type of wax. However, it is our intention to provide this information in the future. For orders of 100 pieces or more, we can specify the colour used upon request.
